To help address the growing demand for student housing in Gatineau, the Cargo project features a modular building comprising 60 affordable rental units with a total of 160 bedrooms, strategically located near Cégep de l'Outaouais. Designed to provide a modern, accessible, and functional living environment, the project leverages a highly prefabricated modular construction approach that accelerated delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, durability, and performance. This project highlights the potential of prefabrication to rapidly develop residential infrastructure that meets the evolving needs of student communities.
